Emails Highlight the late financier and Steve Bannon Connection

In late 2018, Steve Bannon, previously a top aide to Donald Trump, visited the UK preparing for a speech at the Oxford Union.

The event was interrupted by hundreds of protesters, and Bannon, who was due to travel that evening, informed Jeffrey Epstein in an email: "Protesters slowed down my talk don't think I can make the flight we r enroute to heathrow".

Epstein responded: "There. Is a gulf air that leaves at 9:50 with a layover in Bahrain". Bannon answered: "You are an excellent helper".

These exchanges were released on this week alongside more than 20,000 pages from the estate of Epstein, the late financier convicted of sex crimes.

The disclosure by the Congressional committee contains an iMessage chat where Bannon's name is withheld. Media outlets managed to confirm his involvement by matching the dates, events, and places referenced.

For instance, Epstein talks about arranging a plane from Scotland for the unnamed individual in the messages, and offers praise their "Oxford speech". Bannon took part in the News Xchange conference on November 14, and delivered the speech at the Oxford two days later.

Bannon, who faces no allegations of any misconduct, declined to comment on the inquiry.

Epstein's Assurance to Bannon

Bannon served as Trump's key aides in the lead-up to the presidential election and in the early days of his first administration, but resigned from the administration in August 2017.

He has acknowledged he was producing a documentary about Epstein before his death and allegedly has approximately 15 hours of footage. In a live taping of his show recently, he stated: "We're going to release the series, the multi-part documentary, in the coming year - early next year."

But the recently disclosed materials indicate Bannon's connection with Epstein extended than documenting his life, with the disgraced financier occasionally appearing to serve like a aide.

Then, in what appears to be a allusion to Theresa May, the embattled UK prime minister at the period, he continued: "The guys are trying to proceed. may today / tomorrow…"

Epstein suggested Bannon: "I think remaining as long as you can uk. Best-- so people see the commitment of your follow-up."

Soon after, Epstein inquired: "Will Theresa may remain in power". Bannon replied: "It seems unlikely BUT the people over here have no balls" and added "Johnson ; Gove; Rees Mogg; David Davis - someone has to take charge".

May was finally removed in 2019 after withstanding multiple attempts of lack of support in December 2018.
